Melina Tsigaridou holds a Bachelor in Journalism (Advertising) from the University of Georgia, Athens (USA), and an MBA from the University of Cyprus. 

She is a Communication Expert successfully leading high-impact communication campaigns across diverse industries and global markets. Melina’s experience spans over 25 years and extends beyond Cyprus, being the communication expert of choice by international and EU brands.

Specializing in developing and executing integrated strategies, she aligns business objectives with targeted communications that resonate with key audiences. Her expertise includes strategy, media planning, digital and social media, PR & crisis management, and events management.

She has had the privilege of working with prestigious EU and International clients among them Nespresso, Aegean Airlines, Unilever, adidas, and Patek Philippe.

Her commitment to delivering impactful, tailored solutions has established her as a trusted leader in the communications field.

She speaks fluently English and Greek and has a very good knowledge of Italian, Spanish and French.

Anna Hadjizorzi is a junior associate at Solsidus Law (S.Koukounis & Partners LLC). Anna has obtained her bachelor’s degree in law, from the University of Thessaloniki in 2021. During her studies, she volunteered at the Noesis Science Centre and Technology Museum in Thessaloniki where she gained an insight on technological advancement in various academic and professional sectors. She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2022. Anna provides advise to both local and international clients and specialises in corporate and commercial law, as well as in contract law.

Alexandros Pitsillos is a Junior Associate Lawyer at Solsidus Law (S. Koukounis & Partners LLC). Driven, curious, and possesses notable experience in the corporate legal field. He aims to work in environments that continuously support and encourage improvement. As an adaptable legal professional, Alexandros maintains professional standards and ethical work practices to produce high-quality case content. Eager to learn and ready to explore new opportunities within the Law department, he excels as a team player and takes initiative when necessary. Furthermore, he has excellent organizational skills, enabling him to thrive under tight deadlines and workload pressures.

He specializes in the broader sphere of Commercial Law, with a keen interest in media and contract negotiations across all aspects of the entertainment and media industry. This includes handling non-disclosure agreements with internationally acclaimed musicians and performers and showcasing his expertise and dedication to the field.

 

Andria Trokkoude is an Associate at Solsidus Law (S. Koukounis & Partners LLC). She graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2018 with LL.B. (Honours) and with an MS.c (Merit) in Human Resources Management in 2019. During her legal studies, she participated in legal competitions, such “Negotiations” and “Client Interviewing” conducted by the university, which helped her enhance research, negotiation and critical analysis skills. She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2020. She specialises in corporate and commercial law and contract law, providing advice to both international and local clients.

Tatiana is highly motivated, energetic Head of Office, having joined us in 2017. Tatiana is a holder of a Bachelor Degree in Belorussian literature and language from the Belorussian State University and accounting/bookkeeping diplomas and certifications. During her tenure with Solsidus Law, Tatiana has successfully represented non-EU corporations in the relocation and registration of their employees in Cyprus, as well as high-net-worth individuals in obtaining residency permits.

Tatiana is responsible for the daily management of our office, providing support in several areas, including coordination with independent contractors associates of our firm. In addition to her experience with relocation and immigration matters, Tatiana is actively involved in the fiduciary and administration services offered by our firm. Tatiana is a native speaker of the Belorussian and Russian languages and has a good command of the English language.

Georgia Georgiou Mouzouri is a Civil Engineer and a licensed member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ΕΤΕΚ) since 2002. Georgia graduated with honours (2:1) from the University of Portsmouth in June 1998, with a BEng in Civil Engineering. In September 1999 she was awarded an MSc in International Management by King’s College London. She started her successful career in Elliot and Brown Consulting Engineers in Nottingham, England, before making her mark in the Cypriot civil engineering sector. Georgia has worked with some of the most reputable construction companies in Cyprus holding positions of responsibility such as Site and Civil Engineer, and Project Manager. Georgia has gained a cavernous experience when she worked for Drywall Qatar Ltd, a Qatari-based construction company heading up the Estimating Department of the company as an Estimating Manager and Consultant Project Manager. Indicative projects in Doha that Georgia has advised on include, the Tower 10 of the Qatar Petroleum District, Al Shahad Tower, Centara Grand Hotel Doha, The Ministry of Economics, Naufar Rehabilitation Centre etc.

Georgia has participated in award-winning construction projects including the construction of the Social Activities’ Buildings Project of the University of Cyprus, a project consisting of 7 buildings and a main square with a total area of approximately 12,500 square meters, and a budget in excess of EUR 21,000,000.00 (plus VAT).

As the founder of Projectz Smart project management and engineering consulting, Georgia is engaged for the preparation of tenders/bids, contract administration, preparation of specifications, preparation of material submittals, method statements, risk assessments, construction drawings and cost control.

Some of the latest projects, Georgia has been engaged in, include, City of Dreams Mediterranean Integrated Casino Resort in Limassol, Mixed-Use Development in Nicosia, Residential Development in Protaras, Paralimni Marina etc.

Georgia is a registered qualified expert for issuing energy performance certificates for residential and non-residential type of buildings.

Georgia lives in Nicosia with her family, which includes two exceptional young boys.

Stella C. Koukounis graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2003 with an LL.B. with honours and followed a specialisation as a Barrister at the Nottingham Law School in 2004.  Stella is a Barrister of Lincoln’s Inn.  In 2005, Stella extended her studies in corporate and commercial law at University College London where she was awarded an LL.M.  On her return to Cyprus, Stella completed her pupillage at a well-known commercial firm in Nicosia before embarking on a career spanning 16 years, with a particular focus on the wide ambit of corporate, commercial, banking and financing law.  Her clients are primarily high-net-worth groups based abroad and include private equity funds, family offices, groups of companies in the IT, Food and Beverage sectors as well as in the raw material sector. Stella has been the head of corporate of a leading corporate service provider managing a team of over 25 employees in the period 2013 to 2015, before her decision to set up her own legal practice.

Stella is acting as legal advisor to Cypriot entities having their shares and securities listed with the Cyprus Stock Exchange and the Euronext Exchange, and she has lead teams consisting of high-level professionals in various high-profile transactions including, acting as lead counsel for the refinancing of multi-million facilities with syndicated lenders, listing of securities in various EU and non-EU stock exchanges, leading the due diligence for the acquisition of commodities rich properties overseas, pre-investment due diligence and advice on the joint venture in specialised public projects etc. In 2015 and 2016 Stella received the coveted Client Choice Award for Corporate Tax, by International Law Office, an award received purely on the results of client voting. Solsidus Law received the Corporate INTL award for corporate tax in 2018.

Stella is frequently invited as speaker to international events presenting Cypriot corporate and commercial law topics. Stella served as executive director in the Board of ECM listed company Vonpende Holdings P.L.C. from 2015 until 2021 and is the managing partner of Solsidus law since 2015.

A mom of twins, and an avid reader, when she’s not advising on Cypriot law, Stella reads up on the latest trends in management and e-commerce as published by the Harvard Business Review of which she is a life-long member.
